What makes it recognisable to our eyes, that a body is “human”?

1st mid- semester project with the set theme “norms and volumes”, where I questioned normative bodies and what makes a human form recognisable. Inspired by the artwork of Bacon, Schiele and de Kooning, I began exploring “twisted knots” and deformation.
